The Athletes

Tom Erik Heimen
Norway's most experienced BASE jumper and wingsuit pilot. Over 2,820 jumps since 2000, known for his precision and ability to fly fast, technical lines in demanding mountain terrain. World record holder of 66 BASE jumps in 24 hours. Deeply connected to the mountains, he especially loves the terrain around Verbier where he flies regularly.

Geraldine Fasnacht
A pioneer in her disciplines, Géraldine Fasnacht has used the evolution of equipment and her vision to imagine and achieve lines never ridden before in freeride snowboarding and wingsuit flying. Freeride snowboarder, BASE jumper and wingsuit, ultralight and glacier aircraft pilot, she has developed a unique approach blending riding and flight. In 2002, she won the Verbier Xtreme on her first attempt — the most extreme competition in the world. This victory marked the start of an exceptional career: 11 international titles on the Freeride World Tour, including three Verbier finals, and 23 podiums worldwide. Passionate about the mountains, she began skydiving in 1998 before dedicating herself to BASE jumping from 2001. She adopted an innovative approach: flying in a wingsuit from summits to create new lines. Through her expeditions, she has traced new snowboard lines and opened iconic summits in Antarctica, Baffin Island, Iran and the Alps. In 2012, she marked a turning point by opening the Drus summit, then the Matterhorn — earning her the nickname 'the bird woman' — before continuing with peaks above 4,000 metres such as the Täschhorn and Monte Rosa. Today, the mountains remain her ground for inspiration and freedom, which she shares with her son Odin.

Eliot Nochez
Paragliding pilot, three-time French champion and World Cup winner. Passionate about everything that flies and glides, he constantly pushes boundaries — like performing a highline between two paragliders mid-flight. Explore, feel, and always go a little further.

Aurélien Chatard
For 20 years, Aurélien has been moving between freefall, wingsuit flying and high-altitude mountaineering. A member of the Soul Flyers, he has completed projects across iconic mountain ranges, including the longest proximity flight over Mont Blanc. He is dedicated to passing on his knowledge through wingsuit coaching and tandem flights.

Tim Howell
An alpinist and wingsuit BASE jumper passionate about high-altitude ascents and aerial descents of the world's most remote peaks, including Kilimanjaro and Aconcagua.

Simon Fasnacht
First skydive in 2005, then first BASE jump in 2009 at Monte Brento, Italy. Based in Verbier, father of Odin and husband of Géraldine Fasnacht. With nearly 10,000 jumps to his name, he remains driven to discover new sites. His mission: passing on his experience to the next generation in collaboration with SBE Swiss Base Education. Favourite destinations: Baffin Island, South Africa and Namibia.

Fred Fugen
Pioneer of modern skydiving and co-founder of the Soul Flyers. Three-time freefly world champion (2004, 2006, 2008), undefeated in competition from 2004 to 2009. 18,000 skydives, 3,000 BASE jumps, wingsuit pilot since 2000. In 2017, he entered a plane mid-flight in a wingsuit. After the loss of Vince Reffet in 2020, he continues the Soul Flyers legacy with flights over Lebanon and the Pyramids of Giza. World record for the highest BASE jump from the Eiger north face (4,000 m) in 2022. Red Bull athlete and Jetman pilot.

Dante Wardlaw
27 years old from Boulder, Colorado. 10 years of experience, 2,000 BASE jumps, 4,000+ skydives, 4,000+ speedflying flights. Living in the Alps for 4 years, spending summers in Switzerland BASE jumping and skydiving, winters in France speedriding. Every day is a new opportunity for an epic adventure.

Fabien Tornay
Paragliding instructor and tandem pilot with his school 'Les Ailes du Saint-Bernard'. FSVL speedriding instructor and expert. Aerobatic paragliding pilot and former member of the Swiss acrobatics team. When not with his wife and twins, he's between sky and earth, living his passion for free flight.

Marco Covarglia
Paraglider and BASE jumper for over 10 years, driven by a deep passion for aerial sports and human connection. Active at Bungy Niouc for over 13 years at the heart of the suspension bridge activities. Participant in the Villeneuve Acro Show for nearly 10 years. At the Verbier Air Show, he serves as speaker.
And many more...
Beyond our confirmed athletes, dozens of riders, pilots and performers from around the world will join the show. BASE jumpers, wingsuit flyers, paragliders, speedriders — all gathered for two extraordinary days of aerial performance in the heart of the Swiss Alps, at 3,023 metres altitude. The skies of Verbier have never been so alive.
